A fun day! Lots of interested visitors, fun helpers, vodka shots. I even sold 5 pieces! Sharing my space with Jason Shirriff added to the rich experience.

More than 50 photos have been posted to my Flickr and Facebook pages.

NEXT EVENT: Saturday, June 13th!

I flew to Indianapolis for the ARLIS/NA (Art Librarians Society of North America) annual conference. Now that I’m retired, I guess I’m an art librarian without portfolio, but I still love my colleagues, the receptions at museums, and a chance to visit another American city.

I took a half day Auto Design Tour, which took us to the site of the famed Indy 500 (no races in progress) where we toured the museum, and then the former site of the Stutz Bear Cat factory, where there is now a car collection and lots of artist and creative studios.

I especially like the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art.
